Trip Itinerary

Arrival to San Pedro Sula (airport code: SAP). Meet our guide for the trip and overnight in SAP.

Lodging: San Pedro Sula (1 night)
Meals: Dinner

Transfer to Copan Ruinas, around a 4-hour drive. Guided tour in the Mayan Site of Copan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, including tunnels and a tour of the Museum of Mayan Sculpture.

Lodging: Hacienda San Lucas
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Before breakfast, enjoy a nice walk to "Los Sapos", an archaeological site also known as the “place of birth” at Hacienda San Lucas (optional). Visit Macaw Mountain, a bird rescue, rehabilitation, and release center focused on preserving and presenting the stunning beauty of Honduran flora and avian fauna. Transfer to Santa Rosa de Copán (2h drive) and visit Seis Valles Farm, a family-run business where you will learn about the process and journey of a great cup of coffee, from plantation to cup. After the coffee tour, continue the drive to La Esperanza and overnight there.

Cultural and sightseeing tour: Azacualpa Valley with views of vegetable crop fields, Lenca hand-loomed fabrics, and Chiligatoro Lagoon. After lunch, transfer to Yojoa Lake (3hrs). Hiking at Cerro Azul National Park, a cloud forest with great views of Yojoa Lake.

Artisanal Chocolate Tour at Luna del Puente, a coffee and cacao farm. Boat Tour or Kayak at Yojoa Lake. Transfer to Tela (3hrs) and overnight in Tela.

Boat tour at Los Micos Lagoon and experience Garifuna culture at Miami beach community, including lunch. Visit Lancetilla Botanical Garden, the largest botanical garden in the country. This incredible place has plants and trees from 4 different continents.
